Dipping a mug in glaze like this, while leaving the other side lighter and then adding designs on after would make the piece dynamic and really interesting to look at.

The giraffe flower pot is a piece that I want to make. The design seems simple, and the pot could be made easily on the wheel.

Swan

 I like this swan ceramic piece because it still has utility and has a pretty shape. The darkness of the glaze is an interesting comparison to the white that is usually associated with swans.
